Your Appointment

We confirm all appointments one day in advance. If we cannot reach you, we may not be able to hold your appointment time. Please call the office the day prior to your appointment to confirm you will be able to keep it. If for any reason you cannot keep your scheduled appointment time, please give at least 24 hours notice.

What the Doctor Will Do

Before he sees you, Dr. Hill will review the information that the staff has collected and any medical records that you have brought with you or have had sent to us. When he sees you, he will ask you to tell him in detail about your symptoms, the course of your illness, and what tests and treatment you might have had.

Dr. Hill will ask you many questions to help him understand your problem. He will carefully examine you and review any x-rays or other test results you may have brought or had sent. Then he will discuss what is going on, any further tests that might need to be done, and outline a treatment program for you.

As many of our patients have headaches or allergies brought on by the newer perfumes, we ask that our patients do not wear perfume for their visit to the office.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

  • Your insurance card and all insurance, referral, Medicare, and Medicaid cards and information. As a courtesy, we will file with primary and secondary insurance carriers. You need to pay your co-pay, deductible or estimated portion at the time of your visit.
  • A list of current prescription or over-the-counter medications you are taking, including dose and frequency, or bring all of your medicine bottles
  • Any pertinent records or x-rays you may have
  • Most importantly, bring yourself - on time. We spend as much time as necessary with each patient, occasionally a few minutes more than were scheduled. Usually we can catch up. However, if you are late, you may throw the whole schedule off for everyone else. We urge you to be on time.

Payment and Insurance

Central Carolina Neurology & Sleep is a provider for Medicare and most major insurance plans. We provide insurance billing. Anything not covered by insurance will be your responsibility.

We request payment at the time of your appointment for services that are not covered by insurance. Your insurance company may also require you to pay a co-payment at the time of your appointment. When necessary, our staff will work closely with patients who require a payment plan.

If you have any questions regarding which insurance plans we accept or any patient billing concerns, please call us at 704.637.3145. Questions regarding your coverage and benefits should be directed to your employer or insurance company.
